About Rajesh . . .

A native of Nepal, Rajesh Kumar Shakya is the three-time winner of The Best Entrepreneur in Information Technology Award, one of the prestigious Boss Top 10 Business Excellence Awards in Nepal. Rajesh is an entrepreneur, trainer, motivational speaker and consultant for many businesses, e-governance and IT projects. He holds a masters degree in computer engineering (with honors) and is on the visiting faculties of various universities and colleges including Kathmandu University and Kathmandu College of Management.

As a consultant, Rajesh currently serves as Reengineering Specialist at Asian Development Bank. He is also Chairman of Hightehvalley iNet, an ISO 9001:2000-certified software-development company that provides offshore services to companies in the USA, Canada, UK, Denmark, Japan and Belgium.

If that were not enough, Rajesh also writes a very interesting blog that helps entrepreneurs and technopreneurs to excel. He speaks at national and international conferences, workshops and seminars; and also writes frequently on topics that include entrepreneurship, leadership, e-governance, online business, project management, emerging technology and personal development.

Rajesh’s Winning Question to Donald J. Trump . . .

“When you are at the peak of success, how do you manage not to fall from there? What do you enjoy most, success or the journey to success?”

And the answer from Donald J. Trump . . .

“The two most important things to consider are focus and momentum. If you lose either one of them, it’s hard to stay at the peak of your form. Safeguard them both and your chances for continued success are much greater.

“I am fortunate in that I enjoy the process as well as the finished result. I enjoy the daily work involved and so I find the journey interesting–but success is the goal. Winning is important to me, in a way it’s like sports–playing the game is great but winning is even better.”
